After spending around seven years in Belgium, I deeply missed my homeland. This inspired me to create 'Chestnut and Pie' project, a series of illustrations that highlight and share my Lithuanian roots and traditional dishes. While I also create a variety of food illustrations, my main focus is on celebrating the flavors of Lithuania.
I believe that art can connect people, especially those living abroad, and I hope my illustrations bring warmth and joy to fellow Lithuanians and anyone curious about Lithuanian cuisine.
