On May 21st, 2024, the exhibition "Lithuanian Flavours / Lietuviški Skoniai" opened at Peterborough Museum's Squires Coffee House in the UK, where I presented my illustrated Lithuanian recipes. I showcased unique Lithuanian recipes traditionally made by my family, friends, and me. I chose Peterborough because of its multicultural community. The selected recipes are presented in two languages, Lithuanian and English. I believe that food connects people, and sharing these recipes with a wider audience was a priority for me.
During the exhibition, I held two workshops, "The Big Feast" and "Illustrate Your Favourite Dish." It was a pleasure and a personal achievement to see people of different nationalities join these workshops.
It was great to receive messages with photos of how people made the recipes I shared.
